Richard Mazda & The Secret Theatre the first offoff Broadway production of this Obie Award winning and Tony nominated musical, [title of show]! We are delighted to present this funny, smart musical in its first production since the successful off Broadway run at the Vineyard which was followed by a Broadway run at The Lyric.

[title of show] is a musical with music can lyrics by Jeff Bowen and a book by Hunter Bell. The show chronicles it's own creation as an entry in the New York Musical Festival [NYMF] and follows the struggles of the author and composer/lyricist and their two actress friends during the initial three week creative period, along with the subsequent events that lead up to the show's production.

The production stars Jason Moody as Jeff, Jeffrey Scott Stevens as Hunter, Chelsea Barker as Heidi and Jennifer Swiderski as Susan with Musical Director Christopher Lengerich as 'Larry'.

The production is directed by Scott Guthrie features scenic painting by TzuChing Cheng, Production Manager is Justin Hsu, and Stage Manager is Jessica Fornear.

Scott Guthrie [Director] is a NYC based actor/director/singer/jack of all trades. He recently directed two plays for the The Network Theatre Company's short play festival. He has also directed a slew of one man/woman shows, concerts, caberets as well as Forever Plaid at Theatre By The Sea.

Richard Mazda [Producer]
Richard Mazda is a writer, director, actor and musician. As a director: Edward II, Macbeth, Dr Faustus, Much Ado About Nothing, Entertaining Mr. Slone, Julius Caesar, Knight of the Burning Pestle, Othello.
